14-Day Southern Caribbean on the Celebrity Constellation – St. Thomas

This is our last Island and last resorts to visit. Larry picked out 2 all-inclusive resorts that are different as far as price and amenities. The island is familiar to us as we have been here a few times. This time we have rented a car from Hertz at the airport and they picked us up at the ship to take us to the rental office.

Our first stop is Bolongo Beach Resort that is a family owned property for 40 years. The buildings are at least 50 years old but updated very nicely. The rooms are standard hotel rooms and the bar/restaurant a little dark, but the beach and bay are beautiful. It would be a nice place to spend a few days and take your kids.

Our next stop is the Marriott Frenchman Reef and Morning Star Resort. The rooms and property are beautifully done. They have 2 infinity pools overlooking the bay looking toward  Charlotte Amelia. Down the hill behind the main hotel to another bay is the Morning Star Resort that had four unit buildings circling the beach and a restaurant right on the sand. Both places were awesome and very enjoyable.
